Lessons at Willowcrest Farm are taught by Julie Diamond . For information on Julie please see "About Us".
Riding develops core strength, co-ordination, and balance - and is a great exercise! Willowcrest offers a great social atmosphere in a healthy, positive, safe environment. Only safe, reliable, well-schooled horses and ponies are chosen to be used in our lesson program. To meet our horses and ponies, please visit the "Meet the Horses" page.
Lessons are available for children and adults of all ages and levels of experiences. Willowcrest offers group lessons as well as private lessons. Lessons are geared towards the rider's skills and experience. Group lessons are 60 minutes in length and riders are matched according to experience and ability. Private lessons are 30 minutes long and are a perfect way to start riding or get back into the sport after a break for the first little while. Lesson students are given showing opportunities at schooling shows and on the provincially-rated Trillium circuit. We also host camps and in-barn shows. In-barn shows are a perfect way to start your show career!
Yet another reason to start riding - riding qualifies for the government's Child Tax Credit (fitness tax). Co-boarding is also available for recreational and show purposes.
