  • Horse care, grooming, and stable management in a fun environment

  • Guest speakers (e.g. veterinarian, blacksmith)

  • Crafts and games

What to Bring to Camp

  • Boots with a small heel, preferably something that covers the ankle.

  • Long pants. Riding in shorts is not permitted! Ouch!

  • ASTM-approved helmet. If you're riding regularly, we recommend purchasing your own. Otherwise there are some helmets available for use at the barn.

  • Riding gloves if you have them

  • Lunch! Make sure you have it in something that can be zipped up. Our resident cats are always looking for a tasty snack!

  • Lots of water

  • Sunscreen

  • Bathing suit and towel

  • Hat or ball cap. Willowcrest ball caps are available for purchase at the barn at a cost of $20.
